Frequently Asked Questions (Weddings):
Do you offer pre-wedding shoots?
Couple shoots can be booked seperately. Please see my Home Page for details of pricing and style. And please do get in touch to check availability in your area.
Do you offer pre-wedding meetings?
With my hectic schedule, and the geographical area I cover I can rarely fit in pre-wedding meetings in person, however everything can be organised by email/phone, and Skype/Facetime meetings can be arranged upon request.
Are there any additional costs for travel etc?
Nope, I don't charge any extra for travel in the UK. Areas I cover include Hampshire, Dorset, Berkshire and parts of West Sussex, Surrey, Somerset, the Cotswolds and The Lake DIstrict.
How do you describe your style?
My style is very natural, and relaxed, with a fresh rustic look. I aim to capture the story of your day, and the emotions behind it.. with just the right amount of direction to get those lovely natural looking shots. I have shot and edited over 700 beautiful weddings, and am always happy moving and organising groups in a fun, polite manner, and helping your day run smoothly.
How long does the full day package last?
My Full Day Package lasts 'up to' 10hrs, finishing with the first dance. I generally stay for the song immediately after the first dance to capture the guests dancing, but I'm afraid I don't stay any later than this, as I often have a long drive after the wedding, and a wedding the next day to prepare for.
What happens before the wedding?
I ask all my customers to send me their own itinerary/group shot plan for the day about a month before the wedding - example below:
How many images will we receive?
A full day wedding normally sees around 400-500 images. I edit everything I take with the exception of duplicates, and any shots that didn't work out (eyes closed etc), these are deleted during the edit process.
Your edited images are posted our on a USB stick in a colour version, a black and white version, and one of my 'signature edit' versions of each shot.
Who owns the copyright?
After editing, I post your high-res images out to you on a USB stick, all images are copyright-free and ready for print by yourselves.
Do you offer photobooks?
I'm afraid I don't offer photobooks, but there are many suppliers on sites like Etsy who make these, or you can make your own through consumer sites like Blurb.
How do we make a booking?
After completing my online booking form (link on the Home Page of my website - full terms and conditions are at the end) I email over confirmation, and a Paypal Invoice for your 50% deposit - this constitutes a booking fee and is entirely non-refundable in the event of cancellation by the customer for any reason (including COVID-19). The remaining 50% of the balance is due at least 28 days before the wedding in order to keep your booking date.
What happens if we need to cancel our booking?
Please see above, and my terms and conditions at the end of my online booking form. I'm afraid I don't give any refunds of Booking Deposits/Booking Fees in the event of cancellation by the customer for any reason (including COVID-19).
What would happen if you were ill/couldn't attend?
In ten years I've never not made it to a wedding, so don't worry :) However should I be hit by a meteor and couldn't attend you would of course receive a full refund of monies paid (or there are a couple of fantastic photographer friends of mine I could ask to attend in my place).
Do you bring backup equipment?
I always have 'at least' two cameras, 3 lenses and 2 flashes with me at weddings :)
Do you offer second photographers?
No. I like all my work to be my own.
Are you happy to work alongside videographers?
I love working alongside videographers :)
